Night Nation Run

When: July 9, 2022

Where: 1100 Pattison Ave

The Night Nation Run is the world’s first running music festival. It blends music, light shows, and running for a one-of-a-kind social and athletic experience. The proceeds for the run support Stand Up To Cancer, an organization promoting innovations in cancer research. 

Women’s Philadelphia Triathalon

When: July 9, 2022

Where: Fairmount Park

The Women’s Philadelphia Triathalon is a women-only triathlon and 5K run through West Fairmount Park. The event will take place all weekend, but the 5K run is on Saturday.

Bassetts Eat & Run 5K

When: July 17, 2022

Where: 1 Citizens Bank Way

The Bassetts Eat & Run 5K is the most delicious running event in Greater Philly. The premise is simple: run 5K and take a break halfway through to eat a pint of ice cream.   

Philadelphia Twilight 5000

When: July 20 and August 20, 2022

Where: Franklin Field

TransPerfect Victory Lap

Where: FDR Park

The TransPerfect Victory Lap is a 5K run/walk that benefits the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Participants will enjoy a scenic run through the park, followed by a celebration.

Philly Mayor’s Cup

When: August 13, 2022

Where: Belmont Plateau

The Philly Mayor’s Cup is an iconic running event that pits members of our city’s best running clubs against each other in a battle for the honour of being crowned the Mayor’s Cup Champions. Runners enjoy a variety of runs, including a 5K cross country race.

Where: Fairmount Park

The Corporate FunRun is an evening run followed by a party. Enjoy free pizza and beverages, dancing, awards, and more after sweating it out on the scenic track at Fairmount Park.

Belmont Plateau Hall of Fame Classic

Where: Belmont Plateau

The Belmont Plateau Hall of Fame Classic is a cross-country race that invites all ages and fitness levels to enjoy one of Philly’s iconic parks. The run is to benefit the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

Miles for Melanoma

When: August 27, 2022

Where: Franklin Square

The Miles of Melanoma run is a nationwide series of 5K races. The runs are organized to benefit the Melanoma Research Foundation.

911 Heroes Run

When: September 10, 2022

Where: The Navy Yard

The 911 Heroes Run is a 5K that encourages runners of all skill levels to come together to commemorate those impacted by 9/11. 

Philadelphia Distance Run

When: September 18, 2022

Where: Eakins Oval

The Philadelphia Distance Run is one of the most iconic running events in Philly. Widely regarded as the city’s kickoff to marathon season, participants can run a half marathon or a 5K. 

Race to Cure Sarcoma

When: September 24, 2022

Where: Warminster Community Park

The Race to Cure Sarcoma is a series of two races organized in support of the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Choose to participate in the timed 5K or the 1-mile fun run/walk.

Parkway Run & Walk

Where: Benjamin Franklin Parkway
